Crich Open Gardens

Crich Open Gardens

Sun Jun 27 11:00:00 2021

We are thrilled that we will be resuming Crich Open Gardens again and we have even more gardens to see this year.

This time we will be opening over two consecutive weekends on Sunday 27th June and Saturday 3rd July.

Maps will be available from the telephone kiosk on the market place and our thanks go to Roy Nadin for providing them free of charge.

Watch out for more information on Crich Standard website nearer the time.

Of course, all of this is dependent upon the current government guidance at the time and sadly, we won’t be able to offer any refreshments this time.

We hope it will be a lovely celebration of the hard work of our gardeners and we look forward to welcoming you.

Crich Village Fete

Crich Village Fete

Sat Aug 28 13:00:00 2021

The Fete Committee have decided to delay the fete by a few weeks to Saturday 28th August, the bank holiday weekend.

The original planned date of 17th July was less than four weeks after the proposed full easing of Covid restrictions and would have been vulnerable to any slippage in the government timetables.

The August date provides a little more certainty but is still dependent on them getting the required permissions, insurances and licenses. While it is a firm plan, there could still be requirements in place which will make it difficult!

Further details will be provided as soon as possible, so keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates!

Signals Festival

FESTIVAL POSTPONEMENT

Following the announcement from the prime minister and the ongoing COVID19 situation, we are disappointed to announce that SIGNALS Festival will no longer be able to go ahead on the planned date of 12 June 2021. After much consideration, we have taken the decision to postpone SIGNALS Festival until Saturday 11 June 2022.

SIGNALS one-day festival takes place at Crich Tramway Village. Experience the unexpected as you immerse yourself in an eclectically programmed day, where outstanding musical talent takes centre stage. As you explore the varied spaces across the site, you’ll discover a diverse mix of culture, film, and entertainment to fuel your senses. With an innovative schedule of activity suitable for all ages, everyone will feel welcome as a liberal sense of fun engulfs this very special site for the day.

Gates open at 10am, Headliners finish at 10.45pm, Festival closes at midnight

See the SIGNALS website for more details
