Popalong Outdoors to continue during September

by Claire Ganthony

popalong volunteers

Following the success of Outdoor Popalong, which took place as part of the children's summer activities arranged by some members of the Crich Patient Participation Group, Popalong Outdoors will continue during September. Some popalong families and volunteers had been meeting each Friday online for a virtual singalong, but the first in person sessions were held at the end of August. These were such a success, that it is planned that they will continue throughout September and ways to support families as the weather changes and outdoor meetings become more difficult are being explored. More details will be shared here as plans are finalised.

Popalong meets in the garden of the Weslayan Chapel, on Chapel Lane, Crich each Friday during September. Sessions run from 9.30-11.30 and are for children up to 3 years old.

Sessions are held safely, with limited group sizes, social distancing amongst adults and hygiene measures in place.

PLACES MUST BE BOOKED.

Please contact Lynda Gray to reserve your place by emailing jimlynday.gray@btopenworld.com
