New Medical Order Line for Repeat Prescriptions

by Linda Philo

Crich Medical Practice

From Wednesday 30th September patients will be asked to order their repeat Medication via the Medicines Order Line (01246 588 860) The order line offers a dedicated person who will have time to answer any medication queries this will free up the practice telephone line for more urgent phone calls.

Once patients have made the telephone call their prescription will be authorised by their usual GP and will then be sent to the pharmacy of their choice within two working days. In exceptional circumstances it may be collected from their GP practice if preferred.

Please allow additional time for the pharmacy to get your prescription ready for you. If you have an existing arrangement with your pharmacy to deliver your prescription please speak with them to ensure this will continue.

Orders for repeat prescriptions can also be placed via the Medical Practice's on-line service.
