October Half-term Holiday Activties

by Linda Philo

Poster advertising half term holiday activities

Following the success of our summer programme of activities which saw almost 90 children attending play, sport, art and nature sessions we are pleased to be able to offer another programme for the autumn half term holiday. These activities are for children who are registered with Crich Medical Centre and includes those who go to South Wingfield and Holloway surgeries.

Holiday club – Wednesday 28, Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October

Premier Education will again be running a 3-day holiday club on Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th and Friday 30th October. This time it will be at The Briars.

The days will be filled with games, art and craft activities.

If you are interested in attending please register your interest with James at  for further details.

The cost for each child will be £5 per day. Please note, this is slightly more than in the summer when the price was per family.

Online Family Nature Challenge – Monday 26 October 2020

In addition, to the Holiday Club, we are absolutely delighted that Claire Teeling, from Grow Outside, is arranging an exciting opportunity for families.

Please see this message from Claire:

"We were looking forward to seeing you in person for our half-term workshop, however to keep us all safe we've decided to come to you!

We're going online so we can come together to offer a day of interactive fun. We'll start off by sending you a secret link to a surprise challenge which you can complete throughout the day, and we'll invite you to visit the dedicated Facebook page to show us how your beautiful creations are looking and see how everyone else is getting on.

You'll have the chance to meet everyone else at the end of the day when we all come together through Zoom to show off our masterpieces!

We can't say too much or we'll ruin the surprise but we can tell you that the more people we get to join us the lovelier your community will look and the more fun we'll all have!

Register by Friday 23rd October through

Please register your interest for both activities quickly as places are very limited.

Please could I have more information on the activities for the half term and ask if you have 2 spaces left for the Wednesday? Thank you.
