Superbook Bible Stories

Family Café Church

Suitable for parents & guardians with Primary School children. It meets on the 2nd Friday in the month, 5-6.30pm. Pizza-tea plus cakes & drinks, café-style Superbook Bible-story film with a short discussion and prayer-time.

Sunday Café Church

This is a new venture and meets from 10.30-12 noon, on the 3rd Sunday in the month. It is primarily designed for adults, but children are welcome too, since creative & craft activities are always available. There will be Bible teaching with film-clips, and an opportunity for discussion, sharing, worship and prayer. Refreshments provided, but why not stay for a “Bring & Share” Lunch?

Healing Prayer

3rd Tuesday of each month for prayer and support. All are welcome to come to pray and be prayed for, no matter how serious the complaint.

Popalong is a Baby & Toddler group jointly run by the Crich Wesley and St Mary’s Churches. It meets every Friday in term-time: 9.30-11.30am. Good coffee/tea, Healthy snacks for the children, toys, book-corner, garden play area, song-time.

Meets alternate Wednesdays. Muddlealongers bring along their own craft project – knitting, crochet, sewing and patchwork, but if they don’t feel like doing anything creative that week, they just enjoy the company, a cup of tea, a natter and a laugh! Everyone is welcome and it’s an opportunity to meet old friends, and make some new ones.

Musical Afternoons In association with the Crich Area Dementia Friends

The group meets on the 2nd Friday in the month 2.00 – 3.30pm. Live music brings pleasure to those with Dementia, their carers, family and friends; and of course, any who enjoy singing & listening to live music. Tea and cakes provided.

Keeping in touch with a free telephone call every day! Crich Careline is a voluntary organisation that works to improve the welfare of people who are elderly, isolated, frail, disadvantaged or disabled in the Crich, Whatstandwell and Fritchley areas.
